We’ve had a pretty phenomenal year. YACHTNEEDS has been by far, the most popular superyacht app out there. We’ve seen downloads zoom past even our wildest expectations and the app has had some wicked cool upgrades over the last twelve months.

To make sure everyone knows exactly how YACHTNEEDS can help them, here are some highlights on how the app can help you win at life every single day!

Hit the “crew” button on the main screen, slide the moving bar at the top to the left and find a load of crew entertainment options like karting, golf courses, crew bars and clubs, crew banking, accommodation, gyms and much more.

When you search a port name, hit the little arrow and find all the info on the port and a list of useful numbers.

The orange pins are for ports, blue are anchorages, green are shipyards.

Search AMAZING crew discounts from leading yachting companies by hitting the “deals” button.

You can use voice activation to search for over 600 superyacht ports and marinas worldwide. We currently connect captains and crew to over 19,000+ business in Europe, Caribbean, Americas and will soon be adding the UAE and Pacific.

We have thousands of crew using the app weekly, searching for the best local butchers, carpet cleaners, engine spares, restaurants for guests and anything else you need. Plus the app is geo-positioned so can immediately give you perfect directions to find all these local superyacht resources.

You can favourite all your preferred businesses you frequently use and find them super quick under ‘My YACHTNEEDS’.

You can find, chat live and share pictures with crew in any port around the word in the chat section. If you tick the “Looking for Day work” button on your profile, an orange box appears around your image to let captains know you are free for day-work. This stays live for 72 hours to make sure it stays current.

You can find all the latest superyacht jobs globally and apply for them with one click on the app. Fill in your profile as best you can and the app turns this info into a digital resume that is sent to agents and captains. You can leave multiple images so agents can see what you look like, or increase your chance of landing your dream job and leave a video resume on your profile. The best thing is any changes made on the profile will be automatically updated on your resume. This means you have one place to update instead of 20 different websites each time you gain a qualification or change boat.

We’ve got loads more in store for 2017, but for now, Happy Holidays and thanks for all your support this year. You ROCK!
