Who doesn’t love a good selfie in front of a beautiful view or stunning yacht? Well…. This May sees the market debut of AirSelfie, a little drone selfie taking flying machine! AKA… no awkward arm in the shot. No selfie stick hell. Oh, the possibilities!
AirSelfie can fly up to 20m in the air and take pictures from up to 66 feet away. Take indoor and outdoor aerial shots from perspectives a selfie stick just can’t achieve. This means you’ll be able to get all guests or crew in that shot and include a wide angle view of your chosen backdrop. It will be the birth of the bird’s eye selfie!
The free AirSelfie app allows you to control the flying camera. Once you take it out of the case and turn it on, it connects automatically to your phone via WiFi. There are 3 modes for different levels of control when flying and there is even a timer on the app which gives you time to hide your phone before the pictures are taken. It can take up to 8 shots consecutively, and allows you to post the results straight onto social media platforms.
iPhones 6, 6s, 7 and 7 plus, Google Pixel, and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are all compatible with the AirSelfie. It comes with a rechargeable battery which is also the mobile phone style case you store it in. Handy!
You can take videos from the air too, and the vibration absorber and stability systems integrated mean you get clear images and footage. The shots will be of great quality too as it hosts an 5MP camera.
The first models will be available for delivery in May and the pre-order price starts from €259. We can’t wait.
